Please contact Andy with your wedding date, venue and tentative itinerary. Andy Lim is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but will travel if required.

Oliver & Geradline’s beautiful and touching wedding at Holy Rosary Church in Brickfields, followed by a classy and casual reception at Tamarind Springs.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at the HGH Convention Centre in Sentul. Dr Vijendran and Dr Gaayathri’s traditional Malayalee wedding on 14 December 2011. The wedding mandap (pavilion) was one of the more beautifully decorated ones I’ve seen.

Dr Lingesh and Dr Amirtha, both doctors working in New York, flew home to Malaysia for their Ceylonese wedding on 4th December 2011 at the Sri Sakthi Easwari temple.

Sean and Grace (who hails from Hong Kong) began their journey as husband and wife on a very popular date 12.11.11 (a good alternative to 11.11.11 which was a Friday).

Daniel & Melissa’s wedding spanned across 2 days, starting with a church wedding at the Sacred Heart Church in Jalan Peel, followed by a Chinese wedding and tea ceremony, and finally the dinner reception at The Club at Bukit Utama. A Chinese wedding would not be complete without the customary obstacle course games that all [...]

Raymond and Christina were married at Zion Lutheran Church, one of my favourite churches to photograph at, simply because it feels so cosy. Their reception venue was also a great choice. Villa Danieli at the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur has a warm intimate feel to it.

Vignesh and Durga, who live in Sydney, Australia, were joined in marriage at a traditional Indian wedding ceremony at the Sathya Sai Baba Centre in Seremban 2.

Geophin & Rose’s beautiful wedding at Jesus Caritas Church in Kepong. Their unique jungle theme came complete with parrots and green accents in the bridemaids dresses and groomsmen ties. The parrots were also featured at a photo booth during their reception at the Renaissance Hotel Kuala Lumpur. View the slideshow for more photos!

Norman & Reen’s traditional Chinese wedding came with hilarious entertainment provided by the groom and his groomsmen. Not to mention the cute little dance number that the couple did during their grand entrance at the dinner reception.

Thomas & Cath’s wedding in Assumption Church, Petaling Jaya, followed by a dinner reception at the Golden Phoenix Restaurant in Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur.

Trevor and Judith’s wedding at the newly built St Thomas Moore Church in USJ. I’ll be photographing another wedding here again in January next year. We then headed to a secret location for some portraits before I headed home to prepare the slideshow for their reception at the Eastin Hotel in Petaling Jaya.

The recent Malayalee wedding of Dr Navin and Preethi at Kong Hoe School in Klang.

Dave and Keira flew in from the UK to celebrate their wedding at the luxurious Carcosa Seri Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This wedding was a small but intimate party, and you could feel the warmth because everyone was so close. I just love capturing such weddings! Keira giving her maid-of-honour a high five before [...]

Kaylee’s portrait session for her 2nd birthday was used to create a 2012 desktop calendar, which I also designed. This calendar was so well-received that all 500 copies were snapped up quickly.

To kickstart 2012, I have 2 awesome offers that will surely put a smile on your face. Here’s the first great deal! For every portrait session (pre-wedding or post-wedding) booked with me from today until 31st March 2012, I am offering FREE rental of 1 bridal gown (up to RM600 in value) from one of [...]

A pre-wedding portrait session with Sean and Grace at a remote little village somewhere near Rawang

Here’s Randy and Julyn’s relaxing post-wedding portrait session in Cameron Highlands

Jet and Chien’s portrait session started on a beautiful sunny morning. The weather forecast predicted continuous rain for the rest of the day, but God smiled upon us and granted us a rain-free day. If only the sky was clear enough for a sunset… but who’s complaining?

A recent portrait job required resourcefulness in using existing surroundings to my advantage. This series of portraits were taken for a company’s annual report. Without using any backdrop, I utilized the wallpaper in the boardroom and arranged my lighting setup within this very small patch of wallpaper background, and using the very limited space in [...]

A post-wedding portrait shoot for Shannon and Premela. Post-wedding or pre-wedding shoots are very much more relaxed than squeezing in a portrait shoot during the wedding day, and makes it possible to make a trip to somewhere off the beaten track.

Casey & Gloria’s pre-wedding portraits were decidedly unusual, as you can see from the first photo. Casey is a big Star Wars fan, so “the Force” was with us that day, as we managed to get some pretty decent shots even though it rained almost the whole day! We also put their ballroom dancing moves [...]

PHOTO FINISH is a major photographic exhibition showcasing a stunning and unrivalled collection of modern portraiture, a unique and stylish celebration befitting of the 150th running of the internationally renowned Melbourne Cup. The exhibition will be presented within the magnificent Atrium at Crown Melbourne to coincide with the 150th running of the Cup. For this [...]

Just got back from a wonderful portrait session with Kien and Pinar in Brisbane and Gold Coast, Australia. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts (your 2 friends and your mum included!), we had a lot of fun … I can’t wait to show you the photos, so here’s a small selection from the many [...]

Chris and Wan Sim were truly blessed with this one day when it didn’t rain, after two days of continuous heavy rain on Langkawi Island, and the rest of Malaysia for that matter. The overcast sky became one big giant softbox, perfect for their pre-wedding portraits. This was also the first time I worked alongside [...]

I’m trying something new for a change… this time it’s having fun with dramatic lighting. It’s good to break away from our usual style every now and then, to discover new things about the way we work, and to supplement our existing skillsets. It’s a bit like cross-training… a multi sport athlete tends to be [...]

Once in a while comes along a portrait request that’s delightfully refreshing. Evelyn wanted something that was a little surreal, a little magical… so we ended up with this series, which was entirely shot outdoors on-location. I prefer on-location shoots over studio shoots anytime.

Here are some portraits from an amazing and at times hilarious pre-wedding session with a very enthusiastic and adventurous Lionel and Shea-Fee. These will be developed into a very interesting slideshow with a storyline later… stay tuned for the slideshow!
