Had the pleasure of working with Andy on our latest family photo shoot, that I organised to celebrate my wife’s birthday. From the start Andy was amazing in his very calm and collective manner, choosing the best locations, shots and people placements, to capture the best memories of our day. I would highly recommend Andy as he is a true gentleman that is able to capture the most amazing photos.

Andy accepted my request for a family photo shoot with easy and clear communication. Location chosen was Perdana Lake Garden on a weekday morning in June. The park has lush green trees and provides beautiful backdrop. Andy was able to prompt us (2 adults and 1 six-year-old) clearly and the shoot was smooth and easy. The results are natural looking photos in natural light, which is what i wanted. The shoot took roughly 1 hour and did not feel too stretched even for young one. Andy provided the final photos in a short turnaround time. i.e. he could work efficiently. Overall, all good!

We recently engaged Andy for a family photoshoot at our home, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Andy is clearly a very experienced photographer with a modern and creative photography style. He was patient, professional, and able to guide our family naturally through different poses, making the session comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. What impressed us most was his responsiveness and customer service. He replied to our enquiries promptly, kept us updated throughout the process, and was very accommodating with our photo editing requests. The edited photos were delivered efficiently and met our expectations. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a professional photographer who is skilled, reliable, and easy to work with. Thank you for helping us capture such precious family memories!

Five stars for Andy! We did a big family photoshoot at Taman Botani Putrajaya last weekend, and he was incredible to work with. He knew exactly where to find the best lighting and spots in the gardens, and he effortlessly guided all 18 of us through the poses. We are so thrilled with how the final photos turned out!

Highly recommend Andy for any future family portrait photography. From our initial enquiry right through to the final delivery, everything was smooth, seamless and incredibly efficient. At the very last minute, one of our family members had an accident, which made travelling between photo spots quite challenging. Andy was understanding and thoughtful, and mapped out the best possible route for us, making sure we didn’t have to compromise on quality or aesthetics while still accommodating to our mobility challenges. Another huge plus was the guidance he gave us during the shoot. We’re not natural posers and usually feel quite awkward in front of the camera, but Andy’s clear and gentle direction really helped us relax and feel at ease. The whole experience felt positive, and we’re so grateful for how accommodating and professional he was throughout.

From the moment we engaged Andy, he was very professional, patient and easy to work with. Communication was also clear and direct throughout the entire process. Andy and his team made us feel completely comfortable and understood what we wanted for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, they were professional, calm, and captured every special moment to the point we barely noticed they were there. We absolutely love the photos and videos they created for us and it truly exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photography/videography team. Highly recommended!

Mr Andy was very professional right from first engagement and made our family feel at ease during the shoot. Although the kids were a little cranky he was patient and praised them to keep them engaged . The photos turned out beautiful and captured the candid emotions, true to name of the service. We are so happy we worked with Andy for our Chinese tea ceremony and family photoshoot at home. He captured so many beautiful candid moments during the ceremony, as well as warm, natural family portraits that we’ll treasure forever! Andy was incredibly helpful with guidance and posing, which made everything feel relaxed and natural, even for those of us who aren’t used to being in front of the camera. He was organised, arrived on time, and even helped to make small adjustments to our furniture to get the best compositions. We were drawn to his work because of how beautifully he captures moments in natural light, and he delivered. The photos were shared very quickly, with generous variants, and included some intimate, special moments. We’re really happy with the results and so glad we got to work with Andy. Highly recommend! Thank you Andy!

I came across many websites and portfolios, but the moment I saw Andy’s portfolio, I had no hesitation in contacting him immediately. Andy made the entire family photo shoot experience so simple and smooth—from enquiry, payment, advice, tips, to the actual shoot and receiving the final photos. The photos turned out exactly as I had hoped, beautifully capturing the warmth of our family and the joy on our faces as we celebrated our son’s preschool graduation. Highly recommended. Andy of Emotions in Pictures is amazing to deal with! Myself and my partner from Melbourne and the rest of our family from Canada and France spent 2 weeks in KL for my dad’s 80th birthday and I had to find a local photographer last minute to capture our moments. Andy took on the job and made arrangements to accommodate our needs. He was a very good communicator and was a delight to deal with. He made everyone feel comfortable and accommodated our requests. Our family portraits look great! Andy is one you can trust! Thank you once again, Andy!

Recently I've engaged with Andy for family photo session at home. Andy is kind and professional during the photo session. He does give suggestions on how to reorganize some of furniture at home to make the photos taken look balance and nice. I had some defects on the photo canvas when it was delivered to me. He resolved the problem very quickly and professionally. A new canvas was delivered to me in a short time. I am very happy with the outcome of the photo canvas. Thanks Andy!

My wife and I booked Andy for a photo shoot nearby Putra Mosque, and Andy beautifully captured some of our best pictures together. We really appreciated his warmth and guidance as we are both on the more camera shy side, but Andy helped us feel very comfortable with the whole experience. He came well prepared and was able to work with the weather conditions well, and delivered beyond our expectations. We would recommend him to anyone.

We certainly had no regrets choosing Andy and his team for our wedding. He captured the essence of our wedding in the most beautiful way. He was extremely easy to work with! My husband and I are generally camera-shy, yet he made us feel comfortable throughout the process. The colours in his pictures really stood out and made our wedding look so vibrant and rich! Our friends and family were equally impressed with the photographs. As for our video montage,it truly felt like a movie, something we could watch over and over again! This was definitely a great investment for us. We'll get to look back at fantastic shots of us on the best day of our lives and shots like this could only be taken by a remarkable photographer. Thank you so much Andy!

The greatest photographs are motivated by feelings and that is exactly what Andy Lim managed to capture in our family portrait. My sons were down from overseas for Christmas holidays after the long lockdown. Just two days prior to them flying back, my hubby proposed that we have a family shoot. I was totally clueless on how to get anyone to do the shoot for us at the eleventh hour. I quickly googled and managed to find emotions in pictures by Andy Lim. I loved the reviews shared and called the number. My call was answered by Andy himself. After I explained the situation to him, he was very accommodating and understanding. We arranged an hour session for our family portrait the next day and since my home is by the lake, I proposed to have the shoot there. Andy Lim arrived on the dot while I had a difficult time getting my four young sons ready for the shoot. None of them were keen and worst of all, none wanted to go to the lake. I had to give Andy a big last minute surprise by asking him to use my home for the family potrait. He was quick to agree and identified some nice spots both inside and outside the home for the photography. He managed to get the whole session going with loads of fun and banter. To my surprise my sons were very cooperative and managed to pose naturally with Andy's guidance. It was truly meaningful for their 88 year old grandmother as well. Andy portrayed his skills and talent by making her really comfortable and the centre of attraction in all the photos. We are thrilled with the results of Andy Lim's work. I am so glad we had the family potrait. Thank you Andy for making it a memorable moment for my family and I. I highly recommend Andy Lim's personalised and professional service.

Thanks for the amazing family photographs, Andy. Such a joy to look through them. Amazing to see your artistic interpretation and ability to capture emotions. The backgrounds look wonderful - really, really nice and creative. Love all the candid shots of my 3-year old so - kids grow so fast and glad we could capture his expressions, cheekiness and joy in photos as keepsakes.
